Fixing yourself up nice to go out on your bike with your female colleagues looking on is no time for your inflatable helmet to go off like an airbag. Yikes!
A while back we brought you the story of the Hövding “revolutionary bicycle helmet".
The idea is a simple one. You don't put conventional helmet on your head that might ruin your hair and make you feel uncool.
Instead, you buy a Hövding inflatable helmet and wear it - deflated - like a collar or scarf.
And when you fall off or hit something the helmet springs into action, enveloping your head and neck in a helmet-shaped airbag.
Sounds very cool and innovative, right?
Well it is. Most of the time. But for the guy in the clip below, his helmet seemed a little too sensitive and exploded into action as he was fixing himself up in an office setting to head out on his bike.
He seemed to get the fright of his life, with the embarrassing moment captured on CCTV and unfolding as some female colleagues looked on.
