
The Pedalpalooza Bike Festival returns to Dublin's Fairview Park tomorrow - Sunday, May 12th - with a full schedule of events taking place at the north Dublin venue from 12 noon until 4pm.
And for anyone who wants to push the boat out - or simply get their kids cycling with them in Dublin - the the Pedalpalooza Cycle Parade, a family-friendly traffic-free cycle through city streets, takes place just before the fesitivities begin in Fairview Park.
The 5km cycle leaves Capel Street at 11.30am to arrive in Fairview Park at 12 noon and you can get more information and register by following this link.
Dublin City Council is promising a "free day of family fun for cycling lovers of all ages, jam-packed from start to finish with great music, bike-related arts and crafts, exciting demonstrations" in the Dublin 3 park for the afternoon.
There will be a mix of Irish music, magic and comedy for all ages, with performances from Magic Marta, Frankie Magilligan and Clontarf Ukelele to name but a few.
You can also try your hand at the Dublin Bay Cycling Centre Obstacle Course to test your cycling skills. Also on offer is a BMX performance display by Irish world championships team member, Dino Jeffers.
You can also avail of a free bike maintenance check up supplied by The Bike Hub and Little Sport while a 'bike tattoo station" will also be set up so you can bling your bike.
Bleeper Bikes, Moby and Dublin Bikes will all have stalls in the park allowing you to test out their range of electric, cargo and longtail bikes. There will also be food and drink available to purchase at the venue.
