For all but the small number of mountain goats amongst us, climbs are mostly something to be endured, not enjoyed.

Whether we’re out training, riding a sportive or racing; it’s absolutely vital we get into some kind of rhythm when we’re climbing, especially on the longer ascents.

And while there can be a great sense of satisfaction with mastering a hilly course or simply improving our climbing, it’s the one discipline that many of us struggle with.
