Most experienced cyclists pride themselves on knowing their bikes inside out.

They could certainly name all of the parts on their mounts and most will have a good go at repairing them when things go wrong.

But if you're newer to cycling you may be less familiar with all the bits and bobs that make up your bike.

The terminology can be daunting at the start and at a minimum can hamper you when you go into a bike shop to explain what's wrong with your bike when you have a problem.
