Sam Bennett and Ryan Mullen will soon be stepping into action as team mates for the first time ever and they have been getting used to working together during the Bora-hansgrohe training camp currently underway.

Bennett has taken a number of new riders to the German team to form his lead-out train, including Irish road and TT champion Mullen, long-term lead-out man Shane Archbald and fellow fast man Danny van Poppel.

The team also has British sprinter Matt Walls in its line-up; the 23-year-old British rider who won gold and silver in the omnium and madison at the Olympics. He also rounded off his road season with a great bunch sprint win in Gran Piemonte ahead of former European champion Giacomo Nizzolo.

The video below shows two lead-out trains going head-to-head and given Bennett's style is so recognisable, even in drone footage, it looks like he won this one and his lead-out train is getting well used to riding together.

We'll find out soon enough how well they are doing as Bennett, Mullen and others in their group in the team are down to ride the Saudi Tour from February 1st; though their entry is provisional and not yet confirmed by the team.
