Nicolas Roche's data, with power, for stage 13 breakaway ride at the Tour de France

Nicolas Roche was to the fore in the Saxo Tinkoff breakaway that ripped the Tour de France apart yesterday and we have his data for that ride.

Yesterday‘s stage 13 of the Tour de France was expected to be one for the sprinters, bringing the race from Tours on a 173km trek to Saint-Amond-Montrond in the centre of France.

However, the Omega Pharma Quickstep team of eventual stage winner Mark Cavendish drove the race on to distance his sprint rival Marcel Kittel of Argos Shimano.

And later in the stage the Saxo Tinkoff squad of Alberto Contador took advantage of the crosswinds to drag a breakaway clear, eventually gaining just over a minute in the remains of the peloton containing yellow jersey Chris Froome (Team Sky).

Ireland’s Nicolas Roche was with his Saxo Tinkoff team mates in that break and we have his data from the stage, and an isolated segment for that breakaway in the back end of the stage.
