Having just signed for An Post Chainreaction for next season, national elite road race champion Damien Shaw is offering members of the cycling fraternity the opportunity to learn his training secrets.
And having now reached the pro ranks at UCI Continental level at the aged of 31 years after coming late to cycling and been working in recent years as a fireman, there should be no shortage of riders who want to know how he has managed it all.
And the good news is that the workshop is happening online, so there is no limit to the size of the audience and no matter where you are in the world you can log in.
The online workshop is free of charge. To sign up, just follow this link and follow the very straightforward details.
The workshop is taking place next Tuesday, December 8th, from 8pm.
It will be brought to you by A1 Coaching’s 12-week winter training programme in association with stickybottle.
Also speaking on the night are A1 Coaching owner and top rider himself Anthony Walsh as well as coach Aaron Buggle, a former pro rider with UK-based Rapha-Condor JLT.
The trio will offer training advice for this time of year for all riders irrespective of age, level of fitness and long term goals.
There will be a lengthy questions and answers session meaning you can request the exact information you need about how you train.
Nutrition and functional medicine expert Maev Creaven will also be on hand; perhaps a good woman for any questions about steering your way through Christmas, which can be a food and drink marathon.
