Follow these instructions and forget about bonking this winter…

  1. Slice up 400 grams of dates and place in a food processor.
  2. Add 300 grams of cashew nuts, 3 tablespoons of raw cocoa powder and one orange (with the peel removed).
  3. Blend until you’ve a really thick paste.
  4. Place it in a baking tray, cover with cling film before placing in the fridge overnight to harden.

When the contents are hard, cut to size and wrap in tin-foil and away you go.
