Lara Gillespie of Scott Orwell and Adam McGarr from have claimed the main events at the final round of the Supercross Cup today.

On a mild day for racing at Russborough House, Co Wicklow, Gillespie claimed a lone win.

She took the victory from series leader Klaudia Bajolek (Scott Eurocycles) and Lucy O’Donnell (O’Leary Stone Kanturk).

Bajolek had gone into today’s race as the series leader and did enough to wrap up the overall victory.

The men’s race saw something of a coming of age for teenager Adam McGarr as he claimed his first elite win.

He managed to hold off Robin Seymour (Team WORC), who held the series lead starting today and claimed the title for this year.

More to come.

Seymour looks like he’s been in a bike race. He was crowned series champion.

Bajolek celebrates her overall win in the series; a fine achievement.
