Video: Incredible slow motion overhead clip of Matthews Vs Bouhanni sprint

Posted on: March 9th, 2016

The supreme bike control of Michael Matthews and Nacer Bouhanni is really captured in this slow-mo footage shot from above; quite incredible.

The sprint between race leader Michael Matthews (Orica-GreenEdge) and France’s Nacer Bouhanni has been well documented since it unfolded on Paris-Nice at the end of Tuesday’s stage 2.

But here’s the overhead footage in slow motion capturing the duo tangling against the barriers while hurtling for the finish line.

It really emphasises the bike control of both riders despite being in the heat of battle and in full gas mode.

Bouhanni, in red, was found to have deviated from his line far too much and was relegated to 3rd, leaving Matthews to take the stage.

It was his second victory in just two days having been a surprise winner of Sunday’s prologue TT.
