The An Post-Chainreaction jersey for the 2017 season; at the team’s training camp in Spain.
The An Post-Chainreaction jersey for the 2017 season has been revealed at the team’s training camp in Spain.
The riders are currently undertaking their first camp of the year before the racing season gets underway.
And while the team has not officially launched the kit and bike yet, both can be seen in the video below of the squad in Calpe.
As expected, the team is sticking with Vitus as its bike supplier. The brand is owned by team sponsor Chainreaction Cycles. We’ll have more details for you about the bike when we get them.
The team kit remains largely the same; the squad sporting a mainly green with Chainreaction blue livery.
The biggest change is the large white panelling across the upper chest or shoulders portion of the jersey, which brightens up the look somewhat. And the shorts are classic black, with blue bands.
This year the team has some returning Irish riders in the shape of Sean McKenna, Damien Shaw and Angus Fyffe.
And there are also a number of new Irish faces in the line-up; Conor Hennebry and Matt Teggart both making the step up after impressing at home and abroad last year.
The riders did 4½ hours yesterday, with lots more work lined up under the Spanish sunshine for the remainder of their stint in Calpe.
Stay with us and we’ll bring you more complete coverage in the next few days from the camp. But for now you’ll have to be content with this glimpse of the new gear and bikes!
