Are these the most ripped legs in Tour de France 2017? Probably!

They are attached to the body of one of Sam Bennett’s team mates at Bora-hansgrohe; Paweł Poljański.

The 27-year-old is in his sixth year at WorldTour level. He previously rode for Team Tinkoff, under its various guises, between 2013 and 2016.

This is his fourth Grand Tour but his first Tour de France. And judging by his legs, he knows how to get himself in shape.

He shared the photo on Instagram, saying he reckoned his pins “look at little tired”.

And while the main man in his team, Peter Sagan, was disqualified and its GC man, Rafal Majka, crashed out; simply staying in this race is a full time job, as these legs confirm.

They’re definitely more ripped that Dan Martin’s, whose pins we covered in recent days.

But current yellow jersey Chris Froome’s legs were well on the way to this level of rippedness (not a real world – Ed) when he shared a photo of them in the early part of the 2014 season.

After sixteen stages I think my legs look little tired 😬 #tourdefrance
