Now in its 51st year, the Gorey Three Day has opened for entries this year and the route has also been confirmed, below.
Promoting club Usher Irish Road Club is taking entries immediately and says the field will be limited to 180 riders. Entries will be accepted on a first come first served basis.
The race, which is always a very competitive affair, runs from April 15th to 17th – Easter Weekend and takes the riders from Blessington to Gorey on stage 1, around Gorey the following day for stage 2 and then back towards Blessington for stage 3.
There is no TT in Gorey on Easter Sunday, with the race set to be decided over the three road stages only.

Gorey Three Day, April 15th to 17th
Stage 1: Easter Saturday (103.3kms)
- Start: 12 noon
- Blessington, Baltinglass, Hacketstown, down through Tinahely town to Tochar Cross Roads and turning right for Carnew into Carnew and turn left. After approx. 9.5kms turn right into Craanford, on straight to Camolin turning left onto Enniscorthy Road, continue to roundabout turning left at the monument, Turn left direction Craanford finishing at Top of KOH.
Stage 2: Easter Sunday 5 laps Gorey (120.5km)
- Start: 12.00 noon
- Monument, out Carnew Road, turn left at Craanford, straight on taking left turn onto Enniscorthy Road at Camolin. Finish just before 50kph sign before Gorey on Enniscorthy Road (same as last year). KOM 2nd,3rd,4th,5th lap in Craanford.
Stage 3: Easter Monday, Gorey-Blessington
- Start 12 Noon
- Riders assemble at Side Street facing Loch Gorman Hotel for start. Route up Main Street, right at Monument to Carnew (straight), Shillelagh, Tullow (Right), Rathvilly, Baltinglass, Blessington. Finish approx. 5kms other side of Blessington, finish at Roecrete Quarry.
