The 34-year-old cyclist and childcare worked from south Dublin was killed during a club spin in February.

She was in collision with a vehicle at Rathcoffey, Co Kildare, while on a group training ride with her club.

Motorist Kevin Hutchinson (26) from Robertstown West, Robertstown, Co Kildare, has been charged with dangerous driving causing death.

Mr Hutchinson appeared before Naas District Court this morning. He was granted legal aid by Judge Desmond Zaidan.

The case was adjourned until January 17th when the book of evidence in the case is due to be presented.

The date of the substantive court case will likely be set when the matter is next in court in January.
