This clip taken during a dark morning commute down Dublin’s quays really demonstrates how you need to be on the ball. This cyclist clearly wasn’t happy with one driver.

Dark morning cycling commute down Dublin quays

Cycling in any big city requires you to be on the ball at the best of times. But when it’s in rush hour traffic on a wet morning in the dark you really do need your wits about you.

This clip shot going down Dublin’s Aston Quay, on the south side of the River Liffey, brings the reality home.

Competition for space on the road is obvious.

And the cyclist in question clearly wasn’t happy with how one driver passed him.

A coach overtook and then veered towards the cyclist at the same spot a van was parked on the rider’s inside.

The cyclist caught up with the coach and let fly at the driver. There is some language in this; just to let you know.
