Aqua Blue Sport bike completely destroyed by budget airline
This is the bike smashed to pieces having been man handled while in transit on an airline.
A couple of months ago we brought you a story about a video showing baggage handlers throwing a bike bag off an EasyJet plane.
And now one of the Aqua Blue Sport riders had had a very unpleasant experience. And he says he was travelling with the same airline.
Peter Konig took to Twitter to share a photo of the state of his Ridley bike when he collected it after a flight.
As you can see, it looks like he crashed hard on it; it’s completely broken to pieces.
Konig complained that not only had the airline handed the bike back to him in a smashed up state, but it was refusing to help him.
However, EasyJet responded to his Tweet seeking details of the incident.
And the airline also replied to several Twitter users who Tweeted their disgust about the bike becoming so smashed up on a flight.
Here is my team bike after @easyJet destroyed it. Now they are refusing to help me! #dontflyeasyjet pic.twitter.com/5geShgpf9S
